Development intern (PHP)

The role

Orderchamp is on a mission to build the future of B2B commerce, and we’re looking for a Back-End Development Intern to join our engineering team in Amsterdam. If you’re passionate about coding and want to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth startup environment, this is your chance to help shape a global wholesale marketplace that thousands of retailers and suppliers rely on daily.

At Orderchamp, we value code quality and rapid iteration. As a Back-End Development Intern, you’ll work alongside our talented team to create user-friendly, API-first solutions that drive our business forward.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the development of innovative solutions for thousands of retailers and suppliers

• Contributing to enhancing the scalability of our eCommerce platform

• Writing quality code, documentation, and automated tests

• Collaborating with one of our core teams

• Retailer Experience: Focus on optimising the shopping experience through dynamic filtering, search, recommendations, and checkout, along with developing our dropshipping platform.

• Supplier Engagement: Work on the self-service portal for suppliers, manage integrations with leading eCommerce, POS, and ERP systems, and enhance dropshipping and order management features.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant study program or have at least 6 months of software engineering experience

• Familiarity with PHP8, Laravel (Vue is a plus)

• Experience developing RESTful APIs

• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.

• EU visa required

• You are proactive, have a hands-on mentality, can handle complex and unstructured data, and enjoy engaging with your colleagues!
